Interesting. They haven't used generators in over 50 yrs. But yes that was the warning light for the generator. If you have a volt meter that would tell you what the system is doing. If the engine will not crank, and the battery is fully charged, you would need to check the connections at the starter for voltage and ground. And the red warning lights would normally come on until the engine starts.
This solution worked for about a couple of months, but now I'm looking for a replacement power supply also. I wiggled the tiny adapter plug while it was inserted in the tablet and found that it would make contact at a certain angle and pressure. So I got a long fat rubberband and used it to make proper contact by rigging it diagonally, across the tablet. Be careful as too much lateral pressure will bend the plastic sleeve of the contact and render it useless. My theory is that the original problem was partially caused by using the tablet while charging and thus damaging the plug. Although this is a persistent complaint / problem with AGPteK tablets. Mine didn't even last 6 months.
If you haven't used it for the last 8 months and before it was all fine then the most common reason would be the battery. Your battery is absolutely dead but then again if you plug it to AC then it must show some sign of life. But give it a go by replacing new battery. To check get it from a friend and then test the camera on it.
If the battery replacement doesn't work then take it to an authorized dealer for inspection.
Ten months ur camera still under warrenty, call and talk to the Canon customer services.Ten months the camera litum battery should not have ben in trouble already, could be the transformer or the power A/C cord adaptor itself it is not functions properly for the battery to be charging or it could be damages to the A/c power cord itself than it is not taking in the A/C power juices to charges the litium battery.Litium Ion battery last at least a 1 1/2 or 2 years by of 8 hrs of charging and able to used the equipments for the battery juices like 2 1/2 to 3 hrs of battery power to be used.
Did you fully charge both batteries before using them the first time? If not then they may not be able to hold a charge. It sounds to me like the batteries are either dead or defective as obviously the saw now doesn't have the juice to cut the board. If it's still under warranty take it back and get a replacement. Also, how powerful are the batteries? Even an 18V saw will struggle sometimes cutting a 2x4, they just don't have that much power. The plywood is easier to cut obviously.
Well I have seen in several cases where the iPod batteries die. In general, batteries CAN be replaced, but it means taking the iPod apart and getting the correct parts etc. I have done this with older models and it can work really well.
However, if the iPod is only 3 months old (unless you bought it used) I would suggest taking it to your local Apple store and having them take a look at it...3 months should easily be a warranty fix, or they may replace the iPod if that's the case.
If it is a used iPod, I would look up the specific generation and probably find a replacement battery on eBay (they usually come in kits) and youtube is full of videos with instructions on how to do a battery replacement.
The same thing happened to mine. Although it's dual power if the battery dies it won't work. Unscrew the back off the calculator and you will see a flat button battery, replace it and it will work again.
