Question about ASUS Eee 4G Notebook
I'm running Lynux with Firefox as the web browser. This used to work fin but has now developed a fault. The notebook see's all of the available wireless networks and when I click on mine asks me to enter the WEP key.
Following this I get a message saying it is downloading the interface. A few minutes later this chages to a message saying connection pending and thats as far as it goes.
I've tried this on a couple of different networks now with the same result. My other laptop and other computers have no problem connecting via the same networks.
The WEP key is printed in the bottom side of the router. It is needed only the first time you connect to a router, and the PC "remembers" the settings (i you choose to). Seems like you (or someone) changed the WEP key or you didn't choose to connect automatically before.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
