Flashing pot and pan light

Hi

I have this model and it is 8 months old.  I had not used it in 3 months since it is at our condo we use in the summer. I came back and the pot and pan light was flashing green and nothing else worked.  Any ideas?  It has literally been used 10 times and now it is stuck with the flashing pot and pan light.  If I hold down the clean button, the normal button shines green and then when I release it the normal button goes off and the pot and pan button starts flashing again.

Same problem as above but has been used much more often. My flashing light is the "clean light" and behaves the same as the before mentioned.

That reset sequence code didn't work for me. We tried everything on a ton of forums. Try rinsing the drainage tube.

What I did to fix our Whirlpool dishwasher was to disconnect the drainage tube from the garbage disposal. I noticed it smelled really bad so I figured it was clogged. I used a bucket to catch the water left in the tube. I took the sprayer from the sink and flushed out the tube. 4 pumpkin seeds and a couple of beans landed in my bucket. I flushed it a couple times. I hooked the tube back up to the disposal and sure enough all the lights returned to normal. I pressed start and it came on.

Shut off the power and see if the unit will reset. if its plugged in, it will be easy, look under the sink. if not, try a breaker.
let the power stay off for about a minute.
then back on.
if not restored, then you have logic boards that failed.
sorry,
good luck

How to reset a toshiba satellite a215-s5839

Hi.

This is a hard task. Be patient..

You have 2 options

OPTION 1

See if your computer has a port such as this:

nunex2_4.jpgnunex2.gifnunex2_0.gif
If it has such ports, then you can make your own cable by soldering it.

The instructions are as bellow:

To make it you will need a 25 pin DB25 plug, take the plug apart and join these pins using some old cable;

Pins: 1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15, and 18-25

if this dosnt work, go to option 2 which takes more time.

OPTION 2

Remove the Laptop battery, open unscrew the laptop, remove the small bios battery inside.
  • Leave it open for a month without touching it untill the accumulated current in the CMOS is lost. then your bios will be reset to no password.
you will restart your computer and wont be asked for password, so press F1 to configure it again.

Bunn thermal coffee pots not keeping coffee hot

If might not be the thermal pot, it is possible it is the machine itself. If you have a candy or meat thermometer, place it in the pot as soon as the coffee has completed brewing. The temperature should be at 175-185 degrees. If it isn't, then the machine needs replaced. If the temperature is correct, then please call customer service with the model and date code to get the thermal carafe replaced. If the temp isn't correct, and it is 3 years old or less, the machine will be replaced for no cost. If it is over 3 years old, it can be replaced at a reduced price.

ASKO D3251 flashing error message; drain gurgling, power off

You most likely have a leaking bottom spray arm. The water is in the pan under your unit. It requires dealer service. If you are still in your 3-year warranty, good; otherwise be prepared to put out hundreds of dollars. I'm going though this now for a second time on my $1600 D3251. Asko did grant a one-time extension on my warranty since it expired a month ago. In 6 months when it breaks again, I'll buy a Bosch. I also had this same problem on a previous Asko. I can't get more than 3 years out of these units, so this is my last Asko. When it breaks again, I'll go with Bosch. Good Luck.

Need a handle for the lid

I have seen this so many times you'd think rival would improve the handle with a better material...
I used a cover handle from a glass covered sause pan, you can get them at the dollar or thrift store- much better handle anyway.
I do not recommend using a drawer nob with teflon washers and a screw that you can get from the hardware store- the threads of the screw may (will) come in contact with the glass and the glass will break.
use a handle from a glass covered pan you already have or spend the 3 - 8 bucks at a dollar or thrift shop, and throw the pan out. it will be worth it just in less agravation and having a functional tool...

Cooking Pot Return Problems

I use an old heavy 3-quart alumnium sauce pan with a loose-fitting lid, canola oil, and high heat with about 1/2-cup of standard grocery-store yellow popcorn. I get the empty pot nice and hot, add the oil, then the corn, then the pot lid. I shake it occasionally, but basically let it go until the lid starts to rise off the pot, and I don't hear any more pops. Pour it into a large bowl, toss it with very fine sea salt, and go to town! It's also fantastic made with bacon fat, but you need to use slightly lower heat to keep it from burning and prepare for visitors: The smell of popcorn and bacon fat draws crowds.

Kenmore Dishwasher #15769

Try this solution first
Push the Hi-temp and then push the Sani-rinse. Go back and forth multiple times on these two buttons. I found that after a handfull of pushes that a "1" came up on the display. I continued to keep rotating the two buttons and then a "2" came up on the display and the dishwater started it's "drain" phase. I then hit cancel to clear and then I selected the cycle I wanted. The washer started up just as normal at this point.

About replacement filters in refrigerator

grand, on this model the filter is designed to be used for up to 8 hours of open valve time or one year of calendar time. In other words if it takes you 8 seconds to fill a glass, that would be 8 seconds of open valve time. When 90% of the filter time elapses, either open valve time or calendar time, (which ever comes first) the main control board will indicate the amber light. When 100% elapses, the light will go red. As far as recycling..you would have to give GE a call..Catriver..post back
