Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
Even though I already hooked it up to the computer it says it's not there. When I tried to install it it said there was a problem. So I hook my mp3 up to the computer but it's not there when I want to put some music on it. I just got this for my birthday today & this is really frustrating me.
You need to make sure you are connected to a 2.0USB port if your computer is not IDing it try a friends computer or a labtop...Download the sansa update software (http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/Installer/1082/SansaUpdaterInstall.exe).
to a flash drive so you can download it to the friends com or lab...Install the update follow instructions connect mp3 when told...this gives new firmware, manual, video/pictures/media converter....install the converter.......Make sure it's in msc USBmode in settings...Then try with your computer;......
