Hi, I am having problem Moto Rokr E6 (Touch Screen) phone,

Remove the battery and keep your mobile near any tungsten bulb for an hour or more. The light warm produced by the bulb will evaporate the moisture from your phone. Don't expose your device to high temperature source or direct sunlight for drying it quickly as this will spoil your device completely.

Hourglass comes on 5-6 times a day and screen goes black

You probably need to update your software to the latest version. You can download it from your service provider or from RIM:

After sitting for a while............

I think your phone is going into to keyguard mode. Push the Red power button on the top right of the keyboard. Should come up with a keyguard lock screen at the botton of the screen. Push the center button on the 5-way navigation and you phone should function normally until it goes into to keyguard again. You will find the settings under preferences to either turn keyguard off or to adjust the time on it.

Touch system no work correct

I have heard that this can be caused by something getting caught between the edge of the screen and the frame - perhaps after a cleaning session. If this happens, the screen gets "jammed" because something is constantly pressing it in one location. Have a close look around the 4 sides and remove anything you find. It might work.

There is also a small possbility that this has been caused by a software issue: Switch off the phone, pull out the battery and wait for 5 minutes.

During this period, prayer, chanting - or whatever you are into - may help. But I doubt it ... Let me know if it worked

Dark screen

Turns out the little button on the top left of the device is for adjusting the contrast. Turn on the WorkPad. Press the little button. Then hold down the down button and the contrast will be adjusted.

NEC MobilePro 780 Screen

A couple of things spring to mind. Have a good hard look at the screen when it goes dark. Is there still an image there but it is really dark? If so, consider that it may be a faulty backlight. It may also be a faulty ribbon cable joining the screen to the main unit, or it may be that the brightness down button is stuck and causing it to lower the brightness. The fact that you are pressing the brighness (up button I am guessing) and it comes back on, may indicate the bright down button is stuck or by pure chance you are pressurising the board in that area causing a bad contact to work, such as power to the backlight or pressure on the ribbon cable. I dont have one of these MobilePro's but I am just going on things I have seen with notebook PC repairs. Hope this helps.
