Question about Ricoh 3310LE Copier
If the lid from the old bottle stays in the toner slide you new bottle will never open when the handle is pushed down. if this is not he case. does the machine make a banging or grinding noise? i f so you gears in the pcu are bad and no new toner is being fed to the toner sensor. you toner motor could also be bad. you must check to see if your old lid was removed first.

Are you sure that the "plunger" located in the top of the toner bottle did not remain in the machine from the previous bottle? Sometimes it is not fully released when it is removed, and then it obstructs the flow from the next bottle. Remove the new cartridge, and look into the front of the toner hopper. All you should see are the "claws" that grab the bottle when it is inserted into the machine. If the "plunger" is in there remove it. Please let me know :)
