Question about Computers & Internet
These are invoice files our trainers send to us for payment, but Adobe reader 9.1 defeats the automatic built-in zip file decoder that Vista uses.
For some reason or another your file associations got screwed up. To get it back to the default behavior, open Windows Explorer and right-click on any .zip file you have on your system. Select Open With -> Choose default program... from the context menu. This will bring up a dialog that will allow you to choose between a couple of programs. If Windows Explorer is not there, click on the Browse button, select C:\Windows\explorer.exe and click on Open. (This is generally faster than waiting for the Other Programs portion of the dialog box to populate.) Make sure the checkbox is selected next to 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' so it will permanently change the file association in the registry. Click on the OK button to complete the change.
