SOURCE: SKT5102/gb1 - not pumping out

I had a problem that seems to be related, but it came out that the pump was blocked. I had service to open and remove a small plastic clip that had came into the machine accidently. I do not recognize that water was pumped back as you explain but if the water is not emptied may be this is the result...

Kenmore washing machine will not drain water /spin cycle

There is likely an object (like a sock) lodged in the drain hose that runs from the tub to drain pump. It could be in the hose in which case a squeeze will verify, or jambed against the drain pump impellers. It could even be between the inner basket and outer tub covering the drain hole. Regardless it is usually easily retrievable with a little ingenuity as well as a little to big mess of water. So prepare for the water if you losen a hose. Unplug the machine before you start because electricity and water are never a good combination. A wet dry vac works good to remove standing water in the tub and you can even hold the nozzle over a loosened hose to remove water from it as it pours out. Let me know if you run into difficulty.

I have A bosh SKT 2052 Will not fill up to start the cycle

see the following causes:
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher) see diagram
2) faulty float switch, test for open or faulty.
see the diagram attached.
God bless you

I have an f3 and f4 error code on asko washing machine front loader. i know what the error codes are just dont know where they are anyone can help I need it thanks

F3 indicates a problem with the drain pump. At the bottom left of the machine, theres a square cut-out. This is where the drain pump is located. Using a flat head screwdriver or similar object, insert in opening on right side and gently pry open the drain pump cover.
Once the cover has been opened, be careful when opening the drain pump, as there is always a little water left in the drain pump. Before you open the drain pump, place a small container on the floor below the drain to catch the water. Pull the small black hose from the door and let the water drain into the container. You can now open the drain pump to clean it out. Also clean the pump rotor at the back of the pump housing. Replace the drain cover and reconnect the drain hose securely back to its position on the door. Close the cover.

F4 indicates a problem with the water inlet valve. Make sure the water supply is fully turned on. If no water enters the machine, then turn water supply off. Disconnect the hoses from the water inlet valve to see if the strainer in the inlet connection is blocked. Reconnect the hoses and turn on water supply. Hopefully this solves your problem.

Water in bottom of bosch dishwasher will not drain. How do I get this water to drain

Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. To access the drain pump, please follow the procedure---
1. Drain pumps are mounted to sumps in the front of dishwashers --they're easily accessible from the front of dishwashers by removing toe kicks.
2. Tools needed: small flat blade screwdriver (for unlocking terminals).
3. Remove toe kick/base cover, pull up terminal cover and disconnect wires (using screwdriver to unlock locking terminals).
4. To remove pump, pull latch (on circular collar) & rotate pump clockwise (cw).
5. To install new pump, insert @ 2:00 position & rotate counterclockwise (ccw).
6. Clean water & debris from base, then check float operation.
7. Connect wires, then install base cover & toe kick.
Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

No water filling the dishwasher.

The circulation pump is possibly leaking and has activated the flood safety, if you can get the unit near a sink and tip it you may find water coming out from the frame area. I would suggest if this is the case that you contact an expert such as BSH home appliances as these units can be quite tricky to work on if you don't have any experience.
Hope this helps.

I have a kenmore 41042 front loading washer that will not drain water. I have removed the front cover but wanted to know where exactly the drain pump is to check for clogs. Thanks Gen

If you experience a problem where the washer does not drain properly or the drain pump makes excessive noise, here's the information you need to check the drain pump:

Symptom: PUMP IS RUNNING, BUT NOT DRAINING PROPERLY.

1. Unplug the washer while servicing inside the unit.
2. Remove the lower kick panel under the door by removing the three 7mm screws under the bottom edge of the panel. HINT: Use a couple of blocks of wood to prop up the front feet of the washer to gain better access to the screws. Once the screws are removed the panel should drop down, and then pull off. If the panel becomes stuck, a slight tap on either side will dislodge it.
3. Locate the drain pump. It will be located directly under the wash tub (it is the only pump this washer has).
4. There is an access removal cover on the pump that can be removed to clean out the trap. BEFORE doing this, it is strongly recommended that you remove all residual water from the wash tub & drain line or you will have about a gallon or so inside your washer and on the floor to clean up.
5. Here's a helpful way of quickly removing the residual water. If you own a wet/dry shop vac, remove the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum with the shop vac. This will empty the wash tub, pump and drain lines. If you don't own a shop vac, grab a bunch of old towels and open the access on the pump slowly so that it comes out at a trickle. Allow the towels to soak up the majority of the water. Close the access and stop the water if you need to get additional towels.
6. Open the pump access and remove once you have all the water drained. Check the drain pump for foreign objects and debris. Check the pump impeller and make sure there's nothing caught in it. Items as small as toothpicks or cotton swabs have been known to stop this pump from working.
7. Clean out the pump thoroughly and reinstall the access cover. Make sure the cover is snug, but do not over tighten.
8. Place the drain hose back in the standpipe (IMPORTANT - DO NOT FORGET!).
9. With the bottom panel still off, plug the washer back in and select the following on the operator console - DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN, and then press any button under OPTIONS 4 times (it must be the same button). "C00" will show on the console display as the washer begins diagnostics mode.
10. Check the drain pump for leaks as the washer fills. The pump is gravity filled and will hold water even it is not pumping. Allow washer to run through diagnostics until it begins the wash tub tumble cycle.
11. At this point, you can stop the diagnostics procedure by pressing PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times. The drain pump energizes and the washer will begin to drain.
12. If the drain pump works normal and there are no leaks detected, reinstall the bottom panel and tighten screws.

NOTE: It is normal to have residual water left inside the wash tub under the wash basket. This is why it is important to leave the door ajar when not in use so this water does not become sour.

My Samsung duet washer is not draining properly and after awhile when it does not drain the message F02 shows on the console. It also does not spin even though it is showing it in the spin cycle.

It won't spin until all of the water is drained out of it. It probably needs the drain pump replaced. Take of the back cover and see if you can hear the pump hum. If you can and no water is coming out of the drain hose, remove the pump and check for obstruction. Alot of the time socks get stuck in the pump. If nothing is preventing the pump from turning, replace the pump.

Will not pump water out of the bottom of dishwasher

UNPLUG THE DISHWASHER. Inside the dishwasher is a covered drain, usually covered with a plastic guard to prevent large objects from getting into the drain. Remove the blades in the bottom (careful but on my GE they come off with a firm pull) Remove the drain cover and see if the drain is plugged. If it does not appear to be plugged, you may have a bad drain pump. This usually requires you to remove the dishwasher but on some you can access it by removing the bottom plate. You then can disconnect it from the dishwasher drain by loosening a band that holds it firmly to the pump housing. Be ready with something to catch the water as it drains out. If the water inside drains out then your pump is bad. Because the water inside drained out, that tells you that the drain to the pump is clear. Your dishwasher has a drain pump that moves the water out. You will need to remove it, check it for obstructions and replace it. If it still does not work, you will need a new pump. There are two water connections to the pump, one for the flow from the dishwasher and another for the flow out. There are two electrical connections that you will have to remove.

Whirlpool LSQ9500LQ0 will not drain water

Access to the inside on this washer will require taking off the whole cabinet.

1. Remove two screws on the back side and on each end of the control panel.
2. The whole control panel will then pull forward then flip it back out of your way.
3. There are a group of wires coming from the control panel going down to a single plug, unplug them from the main cabinet.
4. Remove the two large brass colored clips on each side.
5. You can now remove the whole cabinet.

The water pump is in front and secured only by two clips top and bottom.
