Question about Jenn-Air JGR8850 Gas Kitchen Range
It takes forever for the oven to heat up. to get to 375 it takes 45 minutes. What can I do? Or what part do I need? Thank You m elias
If this is a gas range your problem is most likely your oven ignitor. As they get older they get weak and takes longer to open gas valve. Eventually it won't come on at all. Replacing the oven ignitor will often take care of problem. BE SURE TO UNPLUG UNIT BEFORE REPAIR!!
Remove oven floor. The ignitor is in a cage attached to back of oven burner. It mounts with 2 screws. You may have to cut wires and wirenut in replacement. Doesn't matter if the 2 wires are reversed.
