Ereec,

You can easily fix the problem with a rescue kit. It contains everything you need to get your machine back up and running.

The problem is a genuine security feature. If the ink pads get too full they can leak all over your desk.

Fix error code:OxF1

According to this site:

Printer Manual reset

the error means that the print head can't travel across the paper. When you turn the printer on, it should try to move the head across the paper. If it can't, you get this error. Open the front, and check that nothing is blocking the printhead from moving. If nothing is, it may move just a bit. Unplug the printer while it's trying to move the head, and manually (gently) move the head. If it's stiff, you may need to lubricate the shaft (1 drop sewing machine oil).

Is it possible to use my epson TM-T88II with Windows Vista?

Epson R360. Printer error. Please see your documentation?I have an Epson R360 and attempted to print a cd. As I put the tray in the printer didn't respond, when I looked at the screen the display was showing a message, " Printer Error. Please see your documentation" It advises to turn off and turn on again which I have done, several times. It was working directly before this as I had printed my daughters homework.

I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them to see if it would make any difference, but nothing. My printer just keeps telling me this message. When I power it up there is a lot of noise coming from inside the printer, the ink carriage is moving but not a great deal. Any help advice is appreciated.

My printer won't print it sat for 6 months we put new ink in and it scans and goes through the actions but doesn't print ink

The problem with printers like Epson is that they cannoy stand without being used for that long. The print head that is largely responsible for print quality is built into the machine and the last ink that passed through 6 months ago is hardened inside. Dry several deep cleanings with nozzle checks inbetween. You may need to send it for manual print head cleaning with a printer technician.

Fatal error

This error can occur if a supposed print out failed to completely print and it stopped try to power off, unplug/ replug the connections that is the power cord and the usb cable.

when you replug all of it then power on then print.

IF IT STILL PERSIST:
most common fatal errors are when the carriage failed to move to its proper place. this normally can be resolved by 1st power off your printer open the printer cover and then check were the printer head is positioned. if its on the left manually move the printer head to the left then right for about 2 inches just to somesort reset it. if it still persist check for any obstructions that may have blocked it.

Red light is always on

The error light on the C43sx is quite "non-descriptive". It simply means there is an error - that error depends upon the flashing/timing of the light.

I suggest you get hold of the Epson service software to get a better idea of the problem. It is quite possible the machine has simply hit the ink overflow protection counter limit, which is easy to fix with the above software. It is also possible the machine has a fatal error in which case the trash bin beckons.

Visit this person for a source of the software and more help.
