My XPE2700 admits a light popping sound through the speaker, what might be the problem?

Motorboating is the name of the sound and it isn't common in modern equipment but has been common in older equipment. There are various causes for this low frequency oscillation.

There is plenty written about it so I suggest you google the subject...

Why wont my dyson fan oscillate?

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

Your Dyson Air Multiplier AM01 desk fan should oscillate when you press the oscillation button on the base:

If you find that it's not oscillating when this is pressed, we'd need you to contact our Support team directly - we can confirm if we're able to resolve this for you under our free 2-year parts and labour guarantee.

Hello ! one channel to have any high frequency oscillations. After few sec after ON , LEDs TEMP & ACS and relay disconnecting speaker . Regards Jerzy Purtak

One of your op amps is probably gone or there's a bad capacitor somewhere.
Get an oscilloscope and trace the oscillation from the output back towards the input.
When you see clean signal on one side and oscillations on the other side of an op amp, that op amp will need to be replaced OR if you see bulged or leaking capacitors around / connected to that circuit, they will need to be replaced.
Also look for damaged driver transistors between the clean and oscillating signal.
A schematic will be extremely helpful in these situations!

VisionQuest Van gogh Plasma 32''. The standby light shut down. No power on has possible. I check the 3 fuses inside the TV and all is good. Someone know what is the problem !!!! Tks

Good day sir, your tv or any new tv are now using SMPS or technically called switch mode power supply, a regulator mode that is more efficient than traditional power supply, the down side is that its prone to defects, there are three main parts the Switching element which is the transistor, the oscillator circuit which is usually an IC that controls the frequency of oscillation and the high freqency power transformer that works with the switching transistor. All of these parts are need to be checked to ensure proper operations. SMPS also detects overload, which is caused by faulty parts on your tv, unless that faulty part is not found, it will not start and go on standby mode, worst will always shuts down. Call your dealer on how to go about your tv problem or have it check by a qualified technician.

Working principle of super heterodying receiver

you can find it easy with google, but here is how it works...the incomeing rf signal is mixed with a signal of another frequency from the local oscillator and then passes through a non linear device (semiconductor). after passing through the nonlinear device the output will contain the original frequency, the local oscillator frequency, and frequencies equal to those added together and subtracted from each other, these signals are then passed through filters to obtain only one which will be either the rf frequency plus the local oscillator frequency or the rf frequency minus the local oscillator frequency. This new frequency is then coupled to the intermediate frequency amplifier stages where most of the amplification takes place before the audio is removed and passed to the audio stages.
