Question about RCA P52937 52" Rear Projection Television
I was using the unit and decided to move it from one side of the room to the other. I unplugged the unit (not sure if powered off), moved it, plugged it in and it doesn't power on. Help!!!
Any TV can have a bad solder connection problem after
moving.Unfortunately, the fix may not be easy.
1) pull light box out of cabinet or hire someone to do it
2) slide/tilt for servicing main PC board
3) examine solder connects with magnifier--solder any/all
bad connects,esp around microprocessor
4) Check horiz output xistor =if ok,re-assemble,test
If shorted, replace with first quality transistor and solder
any/all suspect connects in horiz drive circuit, then assemble
Let me know......T.
