Question about Acer Aspire 5920-6727 Notebook
has this problem started recently or been impacting you for a long time?
If it's a short-term issue then rolling back to a time period prior to the error occurring is usually the quickest way of fixing the problem (could have been caused by a number of issues e.g. conflicts in the registry or files corrupted). In order to rollback got to Control Panel\Backup and Restore Center and select the date of the most appropriate restore point.
You could also try downloading the latest version of the software that is causing the issue from the aspire website-http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5920.html.
If the above fails complete a fresh install-
Acer supply good quality system recovery and software installation disks with all new laptops.
Ensure you have backed up all your data and any programs that you don't have on disk onto a USB memory stick or similar.
Locate your recovery disk and insert into the DVD drive. Restart the laptop and follow the on-screen instructions to complete a fresh install.
