The only way to fix it is either glue something in its place to hold it in, or buy a new stylus

Turntable not rotating. What should I do?

HI, lift the platter off and check belt. If it is broken or stretched you will need to replace it. To test belt for over stretch simply place it on the platter pulley then flip platter over the right way up. If belt stays put it is ok, if it falls off it needs replacing. Keep em spinnin, John Stylus City.

DFUD142 Dishwasher. Plastic clips holding Cutlery/Utensil Cradle sliding tray have broken. Looking for new clips or an alternative solution. Thanks

Hello, welcome to fixya

Here's what works for me, take the lower basket out and set it aside to give yourself a more work friendly environment. Now move the rack stops to the left if you haven't already and then the rack itself...example

and

cb82cce.jpg

Now you'll need to remove the bumpers at the back of the rack rail, example...

push down on the bumper as shown

a6e3c04.jpg

and pull it down and out at the same time...it takes some force, you can use a small screwdriver.

045c1a4.jpg

Now you'll need to slide the rail all the way out as shown, but careful not to let the ball bearings fall into the sump area in the process.

d5605f4.jpg

I usually hold the broken piece in place while removing the rail...

391dc9f.jpg

...( they come in a kit at "repairclinic.com" under number 1394379 like shown here individual holders # 8058638-77 from the link I pasted below at allvikingparts )

http://www.allvikingparts.com/Guide_Rail_Ball_Holder_p/pd110003.htm

The trick now is to install the balls into the holders first

9177d05.jpg

and the holders into the stationary part of the rail on the inside wall...

9c58331.jpg

The inside wall rail will keep the holders in place as you slide the inside rail into place...this will usually require holding the holder with one hand while pushing the sliding rail back into place...

2b91ed0.jpg

Once this is done, re-install the back rail bumpers followed by the rack and then finally the front rack stoppers and that should do it.

Hope that explain it for you or gives you an idea of how it needs to be done. Please take a moment to rate the assistance I provided here today favorable and a brief testimony is also appreciated when providing free solutions.

Thanks for visiting "fixya" today for your repair help and good luck. Let me know if you require further assistance.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

P.S.

I should also mention you as I alluded to, be sure none of the old 8 ball bearings didn't fall down into either the drain pump or circulation/wash pump. This is something I've seen far too often on Asko dishwashers with the end result being a broken impeller in either pump...or both, yikes ! I use a telescopic magnet to fish around as it will be the only object made of metal...unless something else has fallen in the sump well area, it's good to check.

My stylus is stuck im my ds stylus holder

Is it too big for it? If so, you might want to try this: the stylus holder is screwed on to the inside of the backing case.
if you remove the case back you can remove the stylus holder and then the stylus and put it back together.
Be careful when taking it apart and putting it back together not to break the power switch off, it is extremely delicate. turn the speakers all the way down and make surethat the slides are in position before putting the case back on.

How to remove the rack holder from a GE JMV1340WW002 microwave.

Hi best way is to remove the outer case and cut the back of the clip off, alternativly you can just lift the old clip from inside the oven cooking cavity with a flat knife or spreader untill the plastic clip on the rearside breaks off, it'l just fall down and sit in a void in the bottom of the oven and wont cause any damage. The new clip is just installed using an upward motion whilst pushing inward untill it clicks into place.
Hope this helps

The ink cartridges are all separate so you press the cancel button (with no jobs pending) to bring the cartridge holder in to the right place open the holder remove the cartridge and then replace it, let the printer purge the cartridge then your good to go

Nintendo DS behaving erratically-Screen malfunction????

Normally replacing the touch screen will fix these types of problems. Please note that there are two screens on the bottom and not just one. You have the touch screen and under that you have an LCD screen just like the LCD on the top. You will have to remove the touch screen from the LCD as it has double sided foam tape holding them together. Also, the small clip that holds the ribbon cable to the board is easily broken, so be careful with it. If you break it you will not be able to get the ribbon cable to stay in and the touch screen will no longer work and your DS will likely not stay on.
