You can download the device drivers from ASUS WEB site. Select your model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Please click on this link to their WEB support site : - http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
Did anything happen recently? If you have an external monitor, plug it into the vga port and see if you get a display on bootup. Does the computer stay on or does it shut itself off right away?
hi kanhaiyalalg reinstall your chipst controller. it will be back as normal, if there is no problem with the operating system or software sm bus controller that you enter. thanks and regards

Select "Socket 775" from the second drop-down menu. 4. Select "P5N73-AM" from the third drop-down menu. 5. Click "Search". 6. In the pop-up window, select your operating system, then click "Search". 7.On the next page, click the "+" sign opposite to "Chipset". Download the latest driverversion (version 15.24). This package includes both the SM Bus Controller & Ethernet Controller drivers. 8. Click on "Global (DLM)" opposite to "Download from". 9. Enter the numbers/characters in the displayed image into the text box, then click "Submit".
Click the drop-down button & click on your operating system.
The SM-Bus controller is installed with-in the chip-set driver.
Intel(R) P45/ICH10R Chipset Software Installation Utility WHQL V9.0.0.1009 for Windows XP/Vista & 64bit XP/Vista.
Normally this is installed after a fresh install of windows. However if windows is giving you trouble you can re-install the chip-set driver utility. Than check windows for any updates.
