It is a phonograph with am/pm radio and cd player I need a needle for model#RCD823

This appears to be a standard Crosley type player. I generally replace the cartridge with the needle due to problems in the past of the new needle not fitting properly. Search ebay for P-188d, The cartridge with new needle about $10 and the new needle will be an upgrade.

I have an electro brand 9249 record player. How do I remove the needle and where do I get a new needle

Hello
The needle and cartridge can be bought from most of the standard electronic sparepart selleing shops at your town. It will be best to replace the cartridge along with needle. Cartridge will have a number printed on it, should be noted. OK.

While playing A cd the sound intermittenly stops like A skip and sound comes back but player is never moved

If the CD is the problem it could be scratched or dirty, clean the CD with a CD Cleaner if need be. If the CD mechanism is the problem the sled assembly may not be moving smoothly or is hindered ( the sled mech moves the laser across the CD like a needle arm move the needle across a record), the laser lens may be dirty also. Use a CD lens cleaner to clean the lens if you can not manually clean it with some lens cleaner and a swab. If the sled mechnism is the problem the unit may need to be taken in for service.

No sound coming from turntable

most likely this is the switch that selects among cd/tape/radio/record player. it could be the preamp circuitry in the player as well. it would not be the cartridge UNLESS you cannot see a little rubber 'seat' up inside underneath the cartridge that pushes the stylus tip out and down towards the record just a bit. if this rubber 'yoke' (seat) is missing you will get no sound even when you touch the needle tip when the record player section is selected.
