My toshiba laptop-sattelite pro wont let me reboot it to original settings

you will have to open the laptop up todo this,or if you are lucky it could be under a little plate on the bottom of the laptop..i dont think you are going to be lucky.

You need to purchase a Windows 7 pro upgrade installation.

I had same problem with my Sattelite L300. Motherboard has a defect in one Proadlizer film capacitor exactly on the back of CPU, the original ref. is nec-tokin 0E907 (900uF/2.5V) or similar code. I've replaced it by 4 tantalum capacitores of 470uF/2.5V each and 2 capacitores of 220uF/2.5V, all in paralell mode in same old place of nec-tokin component.

if you have original cd or installer of your laptop install it that it the factory setting,,,,

Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 i think there is cd with that unit.. install it

r u check settings in bios
for harddrive there its showing or not in bios otherwise first try to configure the harddisk then try for hardware part
