hi there,
PF stands for power failure. the first you should do is check your house breaker and make sure that you did not trip the fuse.
Does anything run? Can you hear the motor running? If not, you have no power coming into the machine. In this case it's the main control board that needs to be replaced.
If the motor hums, it means you have power to the d/w, in that case you need to replace the touchpad.
thanks
SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Dishwasher- The touchpad
I have a Kenmore Elite model 665.15962990. I have had it for 8 years.
A few days ago the touch panel seemed to go dead and so did the LED.
After pushing the buttons several times the motor kicked on, but the
washer behaved strangely. The LED displayed what looked like Klingon.
After looking through the Repair Parts Lists with its exploded view of
the washer components, I narrowed the problem down to either the power
module (part # 9744031), the console assembly which includes the button
touchpad (part # [white = 3384101], [bisque = 3384150], [black =
3384100]), or the dual light display a.k.a. LED (part # 3383825).
I took the washer apart because I was told I can't return the power
module and it costs roughly $150 at my local appliance repair shop. In
looking at everything, the power module is the most likely candidate.
The LED is a separate unit and is powered by the power module. The
buttons are the same way. Since both of those separate components are
behaving strangely, my best guess is the power module is not powering
either of them correctly.
Also I found this link: http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/appliances/kenmore-dishwasher-not-working-all-27100.html
I hope this helps someone.

I have the same dishwasher with the same problem, try pushing the delay/resume button, then the drain/off button. When the lights go off start your wash cycle.
