  • check if u have a PIP function on your remote control or
  • Go to the Menu n in the display see if u can see the PIP function or the Aspect Ratio function like 4:3 or 16:9.
  • You have to switch it to standard or normal view to change to one full picture.

I Have an insignia tv and lost the remote control, I was able to find a similar insignia remote control to the one I lost. How can I program the new insignia control remote I acquired to my insignia tv.

Hello
All Insignia TV remotes are not alike. The frequency of infrared rays out from each remote control will be entirely different to each other according tho the model numbers of the TVs and remote controls. A typical model will have same model number of remotes, and the remote you have got is with the same model of your tVs it must work proper. Otherwise you have to buy a new one for your Insignia TV model. you can bought from the authorised service center for Insignia at your town. If you have no access to authoised service center nearby you, just buy one universal remote control, which has set up codes for Insignia. . Check its manual, that it have setup codes for Insignia. OK.

Our Insignia TV has a vertical line right in the center, and the picture to the right of the line has a "lava lamp" look...sorta cartoon coloring. Looks this way with a DVD or satelite. Suggestions?

Are there any speakers directly beside/above or below the t.v? If so remove them away from the tv. The magnets in the speakers will distort your picture.

Insignia IS-TV040919 color problem

The tv has been dropped or banged around, you can try to get a degaussing coil and fix the colors, if you cant pull them back out than it would need a CRT/Picture tube...in other words the tv would not be worth anything.
