Your batteries are dead. How long have you had this unit?

  • upstech Jan 30, 2014

Those units come with a battery life of apron 2 to 3 yrs. Even at three years, it only take one bad battery out of all the batteries in the unit, for the UPS to fail. The batteries are tied in series. You might find the batteries cost $10.00 to $25.00 per batteries, depending on how many you have. But some times its best to just buy a new UPS. Or if you want you can infall them your self. Its fairly easy, but be very careful you don't short out the batteries if you install them or one backwards.

I have service manual for my kds60a2020. have red light flashing 6 times manual says its a power problem. but does not say what to change. pls help

Error code for power can be related to many issues which need circuit probe with voltage check and isolation.
Proceed only if equipped with the manual to detach the power circuit and test for voltage , connect to the main unit and see the point of trip over to identify a short or malfunction.

Our unit will not power up

Hi urcvrdha,

You have an elaborate unit! I like these. Your problem sounds more electrical than software related. Try taking all power off the unit for about 30 minutes, then powering up again. Of course, check your fuses. If you get the unit back up to the main menu, and things are not working properly, go to the various "reset" options in your manual for that mode of operation.

If it does not succeed in getting power, I recommend contacting your local Marine/Lorrance dealer for service.

If you don't have your manual handy, download one here:
http://www.lowrance.com/upload/Lowrance/Documents/Manuals/LMS-337CDF_0156-071_121704.pdf

I hope this adds a little information to your problem search. Thanks.

Cannot get TV/VHS unit to work.

sounds like the vcr lock feature is on,

hold down the rec/time button for 7 secounds during the power on mode.

ushally goes off within 24hrs if the time is set. but seems maybe thats a issue.

try that see what happens.

and if possible give the model number of the unit please.

Quasar is made by panasonic and their guides and manuals can be found there as well..

I found this manual hoping it was close to yours take a look and let me know.

Need information on a philips t.v. model 32PT6441/37

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

hope this may help;

Regards,
