Re: my v-touch media player won't charge.
I know one of the things that is unusual about their players is that you have to have the "ON" switch turned on when you charge then or they won;t charge. Is it possible that your player is the same. Visual Land is a california company and has a website at www.visual-land.com but last i tried i could get the website up. Try turning the switch to the on position and it will charge

This can be a result of many different things: the USB port on your computer is dead, so try multiple USB ports. If that does not work, try and see if the cord from the V-Touch to your computer has a short, shake it around and see if the V-Touch detects the computer or the other way around. If so get a new cord (should be cheap.) Check it the V-Touch's charging port is lose. If it is see if you warranty is still valid with Visual Land. Or you can always try the reset button on the back of the V-Touch. Hope this helps, if not let me know :)
Check and see if you have a loose charge port on the V-Touch, or it could be a short in the cord. Try and plug it into a computer and see if it will come on. If not try using different USB ports on the computer (some work better than others.) if that does not work I would try a wall socket. You can get a USB to wall socket plug from almost any I-pod or I-phone. Droid and Android also it. If you still have no luck you could send it back to Visual Land for them to fix. If your warranty is still valid, they will fix it for free. Hope this helped.
hold down the reset button for about 1 min then leave it for about 30 seconds. once you have done that try turning it on, if it does not turn on and it is completely dead leave it pluged in to your computer by using the usb cable, leave for about 30 mins it then might start to charge, if it does start to charge leave it till it is fully charged and then it should turn on. if none of that works then i don't know.
it may be in a low power state, try a different usb cable and hook it
up to a desktop computer (laptop ports are sometimes not powerful
enough to charge the battery when it is in a low-power state). I had this exact same problem and that fixed it!
