Question about Husqvarna 28cc Gas Line Trimmer
I was having the same issue with my 128LD string trimmer. I called a local Husqvarna service dealer and they told me the issue was a result of the ethanol in the gas. They suggested I find ethanol-free gas (aka 'Pure Gas') and try it. [http://www.pure-gas.org/ was the best resource I could find for this]
After disposing of my old gas and filling the trimmer with premium grade, ethanol-free gas (with Husqvarna brand oil mix) and applying 3 squirts of carburetor cleaner to the carb, it runs radically better.
I hope that helps you too. I know how frustrating that can be.

Sounds like too much oil, try letting it idle if you can for a while, and try it once it has warmed up. If there is a terrible amount of smoke, probably too much oil.
