SOURCE: The bottom stitch jamming up

seems like the same problem I haad so I tried changing the needle looking for burrs or bent needle. maybe a piece of broken needle in the bobbin holder. or maybe the fabric requires a certain needle or the needle size is too big for the fabric you are using. or the machine needs cleaning I have started using canned air for this. and then if this fails then you should note the tension position and then try adjusting it one point at a time. always puting it back to where it was to start with good luck

SOURCE: can't pull thread from spool

The sequence of setting up of thread from spool to needle is not complied to actual setting is one factor to be consider it affect the sequence timing of sewing.Particularly some machine are common in starting up threading.fig. shown a basic flow of thread on red color. It maybe a helpful oneb1934dc.jpg

In addition to this the set up of thread to bobbins winder is also need in right place the thread should be in clockwise rotation when coming out to bobbins casing as shown in fig.76e4431.jpg as you can see when thread was pulled out from bobbins winder is moving counter clockwise. If you try to sew, try cotton fabric and set dial to # 3 to 4 and stitch set range to 8 up to 12 depend on layers and thickness,After setting try to sew manually ,turn hand wheel by your hand first, let upper tension catch the lower bobbins tension and arranged thread and insert fabric use hand turning hand wheel several time until stich appear on fabric observed loop thread on lower bobbins on fabric.if accumulation of loop thread on lower adjust upper tension also dial tension gradually until it has a smooth stich appear.

SOURCE: I recently received 2 White

Re the bobbins it is the depth that sounts and some of the plastic bobbins are the same as the metal ones(I used to sell sewing machines)so as long as they are same depth when put side by side and same circumferance then another type will be fine. Ive only found 2 different depths in the plastic ones so I dont know which you have. Not sure what has happened with your stitch lentgh. Check the stitch selector is properly on a straight stitch and that the other stitches are correct. A s/mach technician may be able to alter it for you but yo can do no more on that.

Why needle is not catching the bobbin thread

All problems like this are caused by incorrect threading of the cotton thread. Even if you have done it before, thread the cotton using the instructions in the manual.

Also make sure the bottom bobbin and its housing are correctly inserted.

I have just purchased an LSS-505 machine and I have not been able to get sewing yet. The bobbin thread tangles after about 3 stitches. I have done all the troubleshooting that I know to do, changed n

YOUR BOBBIN IS TOO BIG, when the upper thread passes over
to create the stitch it catches on the rim of the bobbin. Make sure there is no lint caught under it or in it's cradle.

Is the bobbin case supposed to come out?

Either the case is improperly inserted, or your bobbin case is. Take a look at your user's manual.

My machine won't stitch, and the tensions seems to be very high, even after adjusting it.

Hi, if your bobbin has thread, check to make sure the bobbin is inserted into the shuttle correctly. If it is loaded correctly, check to see if the needle is able to pull the thread through the throat plate.
If it doesn't have thread, then all your sewing machine will do is make little holes because the bobbin thread is what catches the sewing needle thread to form the lock stitch to sew the material together . Check your manual on the sewing machine for where it is and how to put thread into it.

Check the bobbin tension and that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder.

Sewing machine will not stitch. The thread goes into the material but does not make a stitch. I've changed the needle, cleaned the bobbin, rethread the bobbin and the top thread.??????????????

Is this the first time you have used the machine? If so you need to bring up the bobbin thread by hand before stitching. Only when both bobbin and top threads are up through the needle plate nad pulled towards the back of machine, will the machine form a stitch.
