You'll have to download a program that will try and extract the password from the excel file. Passware is the best one I can think of, and can be found at (http://www.lostpassword.com/office.htm). It's a little pricey, but it's the best one i've found, and always gets it right the first time. I think the cost is about $125.00. I can't think of any free ones available.

Open the protected sheet... Go to edit and click select all. Go back to edit and click on copy. Open a new excel sheet, go to edit and click on paste. Now you have the copy of the protected sheet without the protection.
