Won't stop draining

My disposal was jammed a few days ago, and while it was jammed (before I realized it was jammed) I ran the dishwasher (a Bosch). needless to say, that was pretty nasty in the sink, but the washer ran through its cycle fine, although there was a little water on the botom. I figured my roommate had opened the washer before it finished or that because the sink had sort of backed up, there was residule in the washer. I have since fixed the disposal. Now, I ran the dishwashewr last night, and I though it had gone all through its cycle, including drying and the annoting beeps at 1 in the morning when it finished. However, upon opening, I realized it never ran any water, though there was now NO WATER in the bottom. Now, whenever I turn it on, it sounds like it is running the drain, though there is no water, and nothing else happens. HELP!
