Cirque Smart Cat noise from PC

These seems to be a beeping noice when I use the scroll function and a short dot sound when I tap on the pad. I muted the volume but it seems to come directly from the PC. Can I mute the internal speaker within the PC?

You can disconnect most internal pc speakers. it will be a female 4 pin connector located toward the front of the tower. the connector is usually black and has a red and black lead running from it.

Assuming you've got a grind which brews out correctly when manually brewed.....
Fill and tamp a portafilter, ready. Press and hold 'stop' pad until machine beeps. Tap the pad you want to program. Lock in the portafilter. Press and hold the pad until you get the volume required. Press 'stop' to exit programming, the machine will stop beeping.

Click Start/Control Panel andlook for the Mouse and open it to check the mouse properties. Make sureyou don't have the touchpad disabled.

Some models will allow you to toggle the touchpad on or off by clicking on thebutton that is located at the top of the touch pad in the middle.

Some models will allow you to toggle the touchpad by tapping twice in the upperleft hand corner of the touchpad.

Some models will require a keystroke to toggle the touchpad. Press andHold the ALT or FN function key located at the lower left portion of thekeyboard, then hit the key that toggles the touchpad. The correct key tohit will have the icon of a finger pointing at a square that represents thetouchpad.

Download and reinstall the touch pad drivers.Get online and got towww.google.com In the google search box type: "ASUS Support"(without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Lookfor downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system whenrequested. Download and install the Touchpad drivers.

My camera makes a beeping noise EVERY time I push a button on it! It's really annoying! How do I turn the beeping noise off???

Tap MENU to bring up the menu screen. Tap the wrench tab to access the Setup menu. Scroll down if needed, and select "Sound Settings." Turn off the "Button Sound" and, if desired, the "Shutter Sound."

This is described in the "Sound Settings" subsection of the "Setup Menu" section of the manual (page 148 in my copy).

Take the computer back to Best Buy, and either get them to demonstrate the touchpad to you, or to repair/replace the computer, if it is defective.

Speaker static noise

The first thing to try is plugging a set of headphones into the speaker plug and testing, see if the crackling continues, if it doesn't it sounds like a short in your speakers (or the sound card, but my guess would be the speakers).

Post your results here so we can further assist you.
