Blank screen When I turn the power on the red light comes on then the green light comes on and stays on but the picture only stays on for about 5 seconds and the picture goes black for about 45 seconds and this continues.

Remove one at a time the Y sus and Y buffer cables that go to the power board and see if the set stays on then, you may have a distorted pic, replace the board that makes the set stay on...there are some transistors on the buffer board that give issues a lot and I'd guess that's where your issue is at
i have the same problem. i just replace the power board because of the "green blinking" light. now, light stays green, picture comes on for a few seconds, then blank....
helloFive blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the
timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the
self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video
out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check
Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK
blanking, try turning up screen slightly.
