Have you charged the headset? could be low on battery power.

Recharging— When you hear five rapid high tones through the headset speaker, repeated
at 20-second intervals, the headset battery needs to be recharged.

when its properly charged
Pair them again:

  1. put the headset into pairing mode. - the headset indicator turns on
  2. with the headsets boom closed press and hold the multifunction button E until the headset indicator turns on (about 3 seconds) - The indicator remains lit
  3. Release them button, then open the headset boom.
  4. Perform a device discovery from the phone. - the phone will dispay device found.
  5. select motorola hs from the list etc..
  6. when prompted by the phone, enter the passkey 0000 and confirm to pair the headset the the phone.
Pairing is successful when the headset indicator flashes 10 times rapidly.

If the headset indicator light goes off, then the power is off, this could be caused by empty or bad battery.

The indicator should flash at a 3 second interval, indicating that its on stand by mode ( not on a call )
The indicator will pulse at a 8 second interval when the headset is connected (on a call)

Five rapid high tones, repeated every 20 seconds = low battery

Can i use my plantronics 230 bluetooth for my blackberry phone?

Hi, yes you can use plantronics 230 blue tooth for your blackberry phone. All you would need to do is to pair the device with your phone.that will do.

How to pair a phone to a blue tooth device?

Instructions

Pair Your Blackberry with a Blue-tooth Headset

Turn on Blue-tooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Blue-tooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Blue-tooth. Click on Enable Blue-tooth in that window.

Add your Blue-tooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Blue-tooth window.

Find and select the name of your Blue-tooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Blue-tooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Blue-tooth device if you receive a call and the Blue-tooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Blue-tooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Blue-tooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Blue-tooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the hand held.

Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Blue-tooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Blue-tooth headset.

Remove your Blue-tooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

I want to connect my Blue tooth device to my BlackBerry 8530 and I don't know how- This Bluetooth device used to be connected to a cellphone I had over a year ago- Now I have the NEW BlackBerry 8530... but...

In order to pair this headset with your BlackBerry, you need to place the headset in to pairing mode. To do this, press and hold the talk button until the indicator light turns blue and stays lit after blinking.

After you do this, go to the bluetooth setup area and search for a device. Once it locates your headset, it will prompt you for a PIN. This PIN should be the factory default, 0000. I hope this helps!

I have a new Blackberry and can't pair my WEP410

You don't have to. So long as you don't use or have the other phone turned on you won't have a problem. To delete a device you have to go to your Bluetooth icon and check your paired devices..click it and delete. Also...if you can't get it to pair. Codes is 0000 or the last four digits of your phone number. Make sure the headset is in "Pairing mode" which is when the blue light stays lit. And you do that by holding the call button. Or call button and both volume buttons. If its a flip out headset then hold the call button and flip open until the light stays lit. Good luck. Rate plz.

I want to pair the motorola H500 to my blackberry pearl. i cannot get the bluetooth in pairing mode?

-Be sure the headset is fully charged.(plug it in till the light turns off.)
-Hold the talk button down for 4 seconds or until the blue light goes solid (not blinking.)

Now the device should be ready to pair with your Blackberry. It usually only stays in pairing mode for a short while (approximately 90seconds)
