Sounds like your run capacitor has failed you can find it if you remove the top cover there is a side acess were there is a lot of wires coming out remove that acess there should be 3 capacitors 1 fan 1 start 1 run make sure to turn the braker off before checking the capicitors remove the run capicitor & check for shorts

This is a Unico AIR HANDLER in a residential application with heat / cool unit in the attic. With system off (not calling for cool) and fan in auto mode, the blower fan is on high speed only constantly....

Sounds like a sticking relay. You can check the stat simply by remove the faceplate. If fan still runs with tstat cover off its not the stat. Not sure is your blower has a separate relay or if relay is mounted on control board. This can be bypassed with a new relay if you are willing. Good luck!!

UNIT KEEPS FREEZING UP. WE HAVE THAWED IT OUT MANY TIMES AND SAME THING HAPPENS. IS THERE A RESET BUTTON?

have you checked the filter ? do you have the temp set to low? are you trying to cool to big an area? shut it down again and let it thaw out. set the stat to mid range and trun it back on. close all unused rooms. when the unit cycles of and its still not cool enough turn the tstat down unilt it comes back on and leave it there.. unil the rom temp reaches 72-74 degree. thats the best set point .. you might be about to get it down to 70. but my bet is 1 dirty filter. and set temp to low.

BLOWER CONTINUES TO BLOW COLD AIR AFTER REACHING DESIRED TEMP.

There is a little switch on the circuit board. Look closely at the wiring diagram and it will indicate which switch to adjust. If not, review the operating manual for details.

Dometic a/c

Hi there

I would suggest that there is a setting on your a/c so hat when the a/c reached the rite temperature, it stops cooling and just circulates the air.

Refer to your manual to fix this problem.

Thank you for using FixYa. Have a nice day and please remember to vote this solution a FixYa, if it helps you.

Duo-therm quick cool

Your compressor is trying to restart after it shuts off which is causing a power draw down changing the sound of the fan speed change. Check voltage power supply and insure that the power supply cord is heavy enough to carry the necessary load.
