Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
Story goes like this: iTunes was uninstalled and the system crashed. Can see that HDD (it's original drive) is not detected by bios. Tried a different drive, same problem. Any drive plugged in to IDE1 goes invisible... Magic! Been fixing PC's for years, this is the first one I can't repair. Any ideas?
Just reload the SATA drivers, you can use an xp disk and select F6 when ask if you want to install 3rd party driver,Just have the driver disk ready when it ask for it and use the second repair option instead of the first to prevent a total reinstall.
