Softwares corruption at fast

Hi,

Based on your post/description, you either have a failing harddisk or memory. In either case, it may be worth your while to replace/increase your memory.

Printer installation may also be caused by the HD not copying/saving all the drivers/installation files or being corrupted after.

The single USB port over a hub seems to be a separate issue and most probably it is the hub that is at fault. A way to verify is by trying it in another computer.

I am not familiar with a Kingston pan-grive.

You can try scanning and repairing errors on your computer which may solve some of these.

"START" - "MY COMPUTER" - Right-click on "LOCAL DISK DRIVE C" - "PROPERTIES" - "TOOLS" - Where it says Error Checking, click on "CHECK NOW" - tick both boxes then click "START" - Another dialog will come up saying "woudl you like to scedule a scan next time your computer is restarted", click "YES" - Restart your computer allow it to do the scan and see if some of the errors have been solved.

Also there is a peice of software you can use that has been looked and cirtified by Microsoft called "Desktop Maestro"
