I have a Sony Desktop Vaio VGC-RB34G. My multi media card reader only support up to 1GB. When a 2GB SD card inserted, it would not work. Contacted Sony Tech Support and was told max support is 1GB. Someone told me RAM has something to do with it but I have 2GB RAM installed. How can I make the SD card reader to work with my 2GB and 4GB SD card? I was trying to copy some photos to the SD card which requests 1.6 GB of space. Any help would be apprectiated. Thank you.
Wow i didnt know that internal card readers only supported so much gb you learn something everyday, one solution you can try is get a camera or something that you can stick the sd card in and plug in your computer then you can transfer files to it

Turn off power, remove plug from wall and power supply, Remove the 4 screws from the rear of the PSU. Open the side and unplug the cables. Remove the PSU. Refit is the reverse.
The computer should beep ONCE when starting-up.
More than one BEEP implies either that the video-card is not responding, or that it is not fully "seated" in its slot, or that the video-cable is not tightly connected.
Yes U can, I have several acquaintances who have installed Win 7 on this model and it runs like a train. They all have upgraded models : 2GB ram and larger HD.
According to some research, your desktop has 4 RAM slots available. The total maximum RAM your desktop can hold is 2GB (2048MB). Furthermore, each slot can hold a maximum of 1GB (1024) but cannot exceed the 2GB total.
This means you can theoretically install 2 x 1GB RAM DIMMS in 2 RAM slots or 4 x 512MB RAM DIMMS. Both will meet the desktops 2GB limitation.
The RAM specifications for your desktop are as follows:
RAM Limit: 2GB (2048MB)
RAM Slot Type: SO-DIMM
RAM Type: DDR1 (not DDR2 or DDR3)
RAM Speed: PC3200/DDR400
ECC Type: Non-ECC
TIP: The RAM is DDR which means that while you can install them as singles (single-channel mode), the system will see a speed benefit from installing them as matched pairs (dual-channel mode).
I am afraid to say that the Xbox does not have a VGA out connection on it. You would need a monitor with a component input or HDMI. Hope this helps :o)
