Question about Cell Phones
I have read all of the previous messages and understand your problem in more details. Suggestions to have the ROM cleared can be very dangerous as you would then have to reinstall the operating system, which sometimes can end up badly and "brick" the phone, or in other words, it will never start again.
I can see you have performed a hard reset but the problem remains.
It now definately seems like a digitizer issue so this is what you will need to purchase. You'll need to ensure the digitizer is designed specifically for your HTC Fuze (it must state that it is for the Fuze). And should you have any trouble replacing it yourself, and since there is no warranty, at least you'll have the added option to take the phone and digitizer to a repair shop of some sort to have them do it for you.
A new digitizer most likely will fix the problem.

erratic response with the stylus. something else could be pressing the screen at a corner or the touch screen digitizer could be stuck.
if you can't solve that problem just by cleaning it and checking that theres noting stuck in the corners of the display then the digitizer would need to be replaced to connect the problem.
the digitizer on most of these displays is on top of the lcd display and can be easily replaced, or the whole display might need to be replaced depends on model.
was the other problem with a button or a joystick like navigation button that goes to many directions? Or?
Let me know,

To perform a hard reset
1. Pull out the stylus.
2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and
ENTER buttons, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN
and ENTER buttons until you see this message on the screen:
This operation will delete
all your personal data,
and reset all settings
to manufacturer default.
Press VolUp to restore
manufacturer default, or
press other keys to cancel.
4. Release the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the
VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other
button to cancel the reset.
A hard reset will make TouchFLO 3D work again.
