SOURCE: I have an old electric

The timer must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven ON. With the oven turned on make adjustments to the two knobs. These are generally stop/start timers. These turn and you can also normally press them in. Be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on it will be fixed.

unfortunately there is no way of increasing volume of the bleep. its basically a simple beeper on the timer with no way of adjusting.
sorry cant be of much more help but what i will say is you should contact hotpoint about this problem as obviously is a design flaw.

If three of the rings are not responding to adjustment, then I would say yes, you have faulty regulators; It is a fairly straightfoirward job to replace if you know how to access the controls

Element / burner / hob are overheating on electric oven

It would appear that you have faulty temperature regulators, which you will have to replace, for three to go together is unusual, have you spilt something on the top, because liquid could have got inside the control panel.
Please leave feedback.
