No sound game plays fine

Hi.

Check sound settings, but more than anything else check the sound cable. If you use the component (red green and blue) cables or if you use the yellow video cable you will need an external audio connection. The audio cable must be connected to the right input on TV or home theater. Most consoles allow use the red and white audio connection cables (AV), there is also an optical audio cable that can be used.
If you use HDMI you do not necessarily need external audio cable. In that case ensure that HDMI audio is not disabled on TV or console settings. Test using a different HDMI port on TV. Do not forget to turn power off when you connect or disconnect cables. A TV can easily be damaged by disconnecting cables with power on (HDMI carries +5V).

Regards.

Ginko.

I have picture but the sound no longer works , I changed out the video/audio cord but still no sound

Have you tried it on a different TV?
If this does not fix the problem you can go On the main menu of your Nintendo console check settings for sound.
Are all games dont have sound?
check the settings of the game you are playing on the option check for sounds.
If still this dont fix the problem find a local electronic repair shop or service center and let them have a check for you.

Video but no sound durring game play only. Battlefield and infamus. all other disc work without any problem. it is an itermit problem sometime they will work fine.

Try goin into "system settings" and resetting your sound options. You can also, for future reference if you ever have any video or audio problems, turn the system off (stanby) and hold your finger on teh power button when powering it on until you hear a single "beep". Release your finger and the Audio/Video setting should reset to default.

My computer can't play no sound I went to sound

Hi,

When did sound work fine on your computer. Try this :-
Open device manager(Start - run - type devmgmt.msc) and expand sound video and game controllers.
Right click all the submenu underneath and choose uninstall.

(Note : All the menus will not give you an option to uninstall, dont worry)
Uninstall those which gives an option followed by restart your PC and see if it works.
If it doesnt, click start - run - type services.msc and look for windows audio service - make sure ot is automatic and started, if not make it.

Let me know the status.Awaiting response.

Thanks.

No picture

A possible solution to your problem could be that the audio and video cords are plugged into different jacks in the television. I have experienced the same problem and i found that by switching the video cord to different inputs on the tv i would eventually have picture. The audio seems to be fine so leaving that cord where it is should be fine. On the remote to his tv there should be an "input" button that changes which components the tv is reading. If you press the input button and the picture appears on the screen but the sound goes away then your 2 plugs for the game console are not in the same channel on the back of the tv. I hope this helps
