Town and country mini van

Blower fan, front, not switching off. When the a/c is switched on, fan reduces speed automatically, fan speed control switch has no effect. When the a/c is switched off, blower fan automatically increases speed, selector speed control switch has no effect.
Removed front relay fuse in engine compartment, blower fan went off?
What do i need to do to fix this?

Does it turn off when the car turns off? if so, you probably need a new blower motor resistor. They run about $80 but shop around. Fixed my problem right away

Blower fan control problem

Check the wiring to the motor and resistor pack For the motor to run at full speed all the time indicates that there is uncontrolled voltage to it which means that there is a earth after the motor before the resistor. For the resistor to burn out .Well it requires fan air flow to keep it cool and with the ignition off it must still be getting current to it to earth. I am suspecting a faulty automatic control module. I suggest you have it check out for failure.

I replaced the front blower resistor, now the blower will not regulate, it blowes all the time.

similar problem recently on an '02 sable.it was the EATC--Electronic Automatic Temperature Control module, located behind the dashboard,it has vacuum tubes and many wires connected to it.check vacuum lines for a leak, but the lack of fan speed control points to the auto module.Ford wanted $300,found one in a junk yard for $50.Good luck

Fan control knob on a/c and heater will only run on high speed. 2003 dodge mini van

I replaced the fan module under the glovebox on my 2005 Town & Country last night. Mine would not shut off at all with key on. It only blew on high no matter where I set the switch. Mine also had the climate control which makes a difference. If it is not the auto climate control it is usually the blower resistor if the other fan speed selections don't blow at all except on high.

A/C Blower Switch on chrysler----- Blower works in

Chrysler vehicles are notorious for the blower motor resistor going out. If your Town & Country has automatic climate control use a SMP RU399, else use an SMP RU362 for the front resistor and a SMP RU490 for the rear. They are generally located on top of the blower motor/wheel assemblies.

Front climate control blower only works on high speed.

Replace your blower motor resistor
Resistor located under dash on passenger side in screwed into blower housing. May be able to be repaired. Requires soldering a small piece of "unmelted solder" across where the old fusible link was. look carefully at resistor. Or else just replace. Buy new. Junkyard resistor likely to be as bad as yours.
