Question about Dishwashers

1 Answer

My dishwasher controls are frozen the light is froze on clean. The only way to use it is to pop the breaker and then the lights blink and I can start it. We replaced the breaker thinking it was the breaker but it wasn't that.

May be faulty control board. Moisture gets in and damages the electronics. Will likely fail completely soon. Is it a Frigidaire?

Kitchenaid dishwasher KUDS01DJ Rinse only light is flashing. control panel is frozen with only rinse only light flashing. does not respond to pressing of any buttons. I flipped the breaker switch,...

Ok, Turn breaker off at breaker panel. Just off then on. The rinse only light should be on.....not flashing. Now press the start button first and hold; then press the cancel button. That should cancel all lights. Then press wash button then start. If the light is still flashing after you turn off breaker....you might have a bigger problem. May need new control panel.

Dishwasher not responsive, just a blinking CLEAN light.

HI, this is a control fault that is located in the logic sector of the circuit board. You will need to replace the control in order to restore proper function.

GE Profile PDW7880G00SS Dishwasher will not Start

Re: My dishwasher start light flashes and the timer display is blank.

That is a fault condition, if the display is blank it is probably a faulty control board.

Unplug the appliace from main, or trip circuit braker to cut power for ten minutes.

If display is still blank on startup, then replace the timer control assembly.

Try turning off the power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker box. leave the power off for 5 10 mins and then turn breaker back on and try to restart dishwasher. This may reset the board and it may work
