Question about IBM ThinkPad R51 Notebook
I tried replacing the LCD, LCD cable and the LCD inverter. All of which did not fix the problem. I as well can see the image on the screen with a bright light on it. I believe that the only other possible replacement can be replacing the planar (motherboard) Other that that does anyone have any idea what the problem can be?
Try updating your video driver. Also, try connecting your machine to external monitor and see if there's a display if not i then confirmed that you planar is faulty.
Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.
