Question about Poulan Pro 16-Inch 38 cc Anti-Vibration Chainsaw #PP3516AVX
THE SAW WAS BOUGHT NEW ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO. I FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS FOR STARTING BUT AFTER IT STARTS IT DIES QUICKLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED THE THREE TIMES I'VE USED IT. THE FIRST AND SECOND TIMES IT FINALLY STARTED AFTER ABOUT 4 OR FIVE TRIES. HOWEVER IF I HELD IT THE WRONG WAY IT WOULD DIE AGAIN.THIS LAST TIME I COULD NOT GET IT STARTED AT ALL. SINCE I BOUGHT THE SAW, I HAVE USED IT FOR A TOTAL OF 1 HOUR.
What kind of saw is it? and if this is the problem u might have over primed the button on the side thats part of getting the saw started and maby flooded the carb and could be the reason why its hard to get it goin. Doesnt take much to flood a small motor. Oh and almost forgot do u have the right mixure of ur fuel? for my saw its 40:1.
