Any DVD? Check your cabling, the video cable can be damaged or it is very close to a magnetic field such as Hallogen light fixture. Another troubleshooting tests are, change the input on your TV (from input 1 to 2) or test the signal on another TV to display the image. Good luck. Ronni

Damaged cartridge error came up, suggested replacing ink cartridges, I replaced the cartridges same error

if the cartridge was damaged before you replaced it, this lines where the ink travels threw mite be dried inside the tubes and the printer is sending signal that the print is out of ink.

After plugging in-will not turn on?

You may have a blown fuse. You can remove the screws and pull off the outter shell. When you look inside, you should see a glass tube which is the fuse. Inside the glass tube there should be a thin wire that is supposed to run all the way across the tube. If that thin wire is broken or the fuse looks burnt, then it should be replaced.

Dvd got stuck inside the dvd player. screen says no signal. what shoul i do?

UN-PLUG THE SET FIRST
There should be 2 small phillips head screws on the back-side of the dvd player. remove those and the dvd player pulls out. Be careful and take your time removing the cover to the dvd player. Once inside the player, you will see how the dvd comes out. Re-assemble and put it back in and your off to the races.

Will not play DVD, that was in playing before removing it.

Try resetting the player. To reset check the DVD-player manual. If it doesn't work then try cleaning disc surface with a soft cloth. Remember to clean the disc radially inside out not in a circular manner i.e put cloth on inner circle and move towards outer edge in straight line).

Line Of Distortion Along The Bottom of an Em20 Burned Disc

It's possible there is either a codec problem with your computer player. I would recommend trying a player such as VLC Media Player, to see if that works. If that isn't it, what kind of TV's are you watching the video on? Are they "tubed" or flat screen? If they are tubed, you wouldn't be able to see the line at the bottom like you do when you play the video on the computer.

When i put a disk in the screeen appears with 'line in' and doesn't play

Perhaps, it's been accidentally moved the switch on LINE SELECT to IN position (the switch is located on the right side, near the back corner of the DVD player). The switch SHOULD be moved to OUT position.
Tah dah! It's playing!
Hope this is the case. Good Luck!

First of all boards don't leak anything. The leakage was caused by one of the projection tubes leaking its coolant. If the faulty tube wasn't repalced then you will start all over again with the same issue and cause more damage to the TV. Not only that but the loss of coolant in the tube will cause the picture to be partially out of focus (the defectinve tube that is). DVD players don't break ANY chips inside of the TV. Sounds like a repairman who doesn't know what he'she is doing and needs to exit this type of work.
