Re: how do i adjust sound

Volume buttons are not on the touch screen, they are below it on the face of the radio and are clearly marked on the remote.

The radio works and plays fine but if i put a dvd or cd in no volume the dvd does play though just no volume

Are you running the audio through an amplifier? If so, it sounds like you are using the blue wire (power antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on). The power antenna remote turn on turns off when leaving tuner mode, turning the amp off.

Volume wont change

unfortunately these units require the remote to adjust volume visit they have the remote for mvohd70 (the infrared headphones have volume on sides) if it is RCA cabled to your head unit you can control sound in car but if you are referring to the direct headphone jack remote is the only solution

Buttons on top of screen don't work

I recently read in the manual that if you hit both the reset buttons on the headunit and amp, it should reset it.

Jensen vm9311 dvd indash volume is loud when i turn on car

Heres the best way to fix; Quote from manual "Programmable Turn-On Volume (Pg.12) This feature allows the user to select a turn-on colume setting regardless of the colume setting prior to turning the unit off. To program a specific volume level, push and hold the VOL/LOC/DV know (6) while the yellow volume bar is displayed on the screen. The unit will beep two times to confirm your turn-on volume setting." Ah i had the same problem. I turned to the manual and it worked for me :) Good Luck, Ern
