Toshiba 9" TV/VCR W/CAR AC/DC - No power when on battery

I put this new TV in our motorhome.  It worked fine, until one day when I got a blank screen.  I followed the mfg guide and found the button on back that brought back my picture.

Now I have a second problem, in that the TV won't work on DC now.  I checked the DC outlet and verified power and I ensured that the AC cord was unplugged behind the set.  I couldn't find a fuse in the DC cord plug.

What else could the problem be?  It is only a few months old and the DC has worked fine before.
