Question about JVC Video Cameras
Locate your system in the room where you intend to regularly use it. Before connecting power/"switching on", allow at least two or three hours for the system to reach room temperature. If the system was stored in a location cooler than its operating conditions then moisture will have formed on circuit boards and components - this presents a risk of short circuit conditions. Some sytems factor temperature/moisture balance into boot conditions.

This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.
My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these.
