Question about Maytag Washing Machines
Dryers draw a lot of power...because of that, wiring and connectors get warm or hot and expand....eventually it causes loose connections and it starts to arc....you must open the back of the dryer and take a look at all the wires to see if you see any that are melted, black and so on....also check for loose connections where wires are bolted or screwed down...make sure everything is as tight as possible....and all connections are clean and have no burn marks or corrosion....it should work fine after that...And I WARN you now....unplug the dryer from the wall......If you do these checks and repairs with the plug still connected.....and it happens to short out on you...it could KILL you.....so UNPLUG the cord....good luck
