Question about Whirlpool LSR5132PQ Top Load Washer
Try to pull off the agitator by placing your fingers under the bottom edge on 2 sides of the agitator...you might have to wiggle it back and forth while pulling up with a little bit of force....if it comes off, check to make sure that the rubber sleeve on top of the steel shaft is still there....if it's not...then it came off with the agitator....the rubber sleeves are permanantly pressed or glued to the steel shaft where the agitator is placed....as the steel shaft spins, the agitator spins with it and thats where it will slip because the rubber sleeve becomes disengaged from the shaft....if the sleeve is still on the shaft...then you need to replace the motor and accompaning parts because the problem would be internal in the gearing drive system.
