Question about Foxconn G33M Socket LGA775 motherboard
Hello there, Im afraid I may have my drives ( 2 x HDs and 1 x DVD r/w ) connected to the wrong ports on my motherboard, ther are 4 ports and my system is a Advent T9609 with Intel dual Core Quad Q6600 processor.
Please can you tell me the correct order of the sata cables from drives to motherboard. many thanks in advance.
The plug in sata ports do not matter for order unless you are plugging into ports reserved for RAID. Check your motherboard manual to see if any ports are reserved for this setup. If so change any cables out goint to those ports. You will also need to enter bios and make sure SATA is enabled in your settings. Once you have done this you should be able to boot and your drives will be auto detected. Hope this helps.
