Question about Brother HL-6050DN Laser Printer
I have two Brother HL 6050dn's and one HL 7050 and all three are suffering with a Toner End Life message. I have replaced the Toners in every one but still the message stays. Recently the HL 7050 "fixed itself" and now prints. But the two 6050's won't print. Any ideas?
OK, I have now solved both problems; one printer had a faulty Relay PCB (Brother part no LJ9437001) which was cheap and easy to replace, but the Main PCB was faulty on the other one (LJ9487001) which doesn't cost much less than a new printer!
I hope this information will help any others with the same problem with this printer - it could be I had the only two ever to develop this problem or it's an issue with this model.

Ther is a small viewport (about
1/4" dia) on each end of the cartridge that a photo sensor apparently
shines through. The port is not near the bottom, so there's room for
plenty of toner below it. Put a small piece of electrical tape over
one of them and it will print fine..
Just a thought it worked for soe of my frnds..its worth a try..
