I'm not sure if the front lint duct is like a frigidaire. But there should be a couple of screws that can be removed. Then you should be able to remove the cover. This should give you access to the inside duct and you will be able to clean it out.

Admiral dyer model ade7000ayw wont make heat

You will need to replace the heating element and the thermostat. They come in a kit and is a simple job to replace them. Here is a link to the kit.

I have a maytag admiral dryer (ade7000ayw) stopped working over tonight? It's plugged in and the outlet has power.

The thermal fuse is what the problem very likely is. It is located on the side of the heater housing on the upper part of the back wall of rear drum support. To check it UNPLUG DRYER,remove the 2 white wires on the right side of where the heat element goes and check the thermal fuse for continuty (zero ohms resistiance) using a meter set to measure ohms of resistiance

My maytag dryer takes almost 2 hours to dry 1 load of laundry

I would try cleaning out the dryer lent from the exhaust duct from the dryer and also the duct to the outside of the house. Lint also collects inside the dryer. It may worth cleaning out behind the lint filer through to the exhaust duct.

Maytag performa Keeps blowing Thermal Fuse. Vents are clean. Cleaned entire system. Seems to heat up as soon as dryer cuts off.Changed control thermostat as well. Can get one load and replace fuse.

something is still plugged with lint,if the vent line is long blow it out with a leaf blower to clean it out,you have to clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into,if the filter is on top remove the vent line, remove the back panel, remove the lint filter and the two screws in front of it and remove the four screws and clean out the duct,if the filter is in front take off the bottom panel, remove the filter and clean the duct, also vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is,when the dryer gets to hot the thermal fuse pops as a safety so you still have a block somewhere

My admiral dryer is not drying as it should - troubleshooting advice?

I love an admiral dryer. Simply a beautiful machine. They do have a few basic problems but whos doesn't. One of the main problems has to do with the 53-0106 plastic blower. It has a flat side to it to keep the blower from slipping but the heat wallers out the hub abd the blower spins. This results in improper air flow. The dryer takes twice as long to dry clothes and gets real hot on top because of poor air circulation. Also a hole could get in the filter and cause lint to build in the filter housing. The lint combined with the loos blower wheel makes a huge ball of lint form in front of the blower. I have some repair photos for various maytag dryers old and new and diff styles showing how to get inside and check all this stuff out. Remove power and clean out the vent to outside also and this sweet little admiral will be all kosher again. Repair photos and stuff: HERE
I have other brands HERE
You say you have an admiral but ler5636p is a whirlpool dryer, anywho I have posted the repair pix for whirlpool HERE

How to clean out lint at the bottom of lint tray?

remove front panel by releasing clips holding top to front. use putty knife and press in on 2 hidden clips. top will lift, hinged at back, then find two screws holding front to sides, remove and lift panel up and out. clog in these is very common at bottom of plastic duct on panel going into blower.
