Question about Dell Inspiron 1521 Laptop
I have a dell 1521 Inspiron computer and it used to work on my wireless network . I booted it up the other day and no connection and it does not see any wireless network.
Assuming that the wireless driver is enabled and working, if not reinstall the wireless card driver. Are all the lights on the router are on, if not power down the wireless router, wait for 30 secs and power up the wireless router. Sometimes when you boot up the wireless card doesn't get an IP address from the wireless router. If you see the wireless icon on the Task Bar with a red X against it, just right click on the icon and click on Repair. This will repair the connection and get the wireless router to issue the wireless card with a new IP address. If you don't have an icon on the Task Bar go to Control Panel - Network Connection and right click on the wireless Network connection and click on Repair.
