I recently moved my system.  Upon reconnection my monitor will not power on AT ALL.  What could be the problem?

I have the same problem. After doing all the troubleshooting I could think of, I am told I will have to replace it. Don't have money for that, so would like to know what repairs I could try.

My monitor also will not power on.

I disassebled the monitor and it is not the switch.

I once saw a power supply module for this monitor for sale on-line, but cannot find it now.

Does anyone know if a replacement is available?

Also when i moved my monitor stopped turning on at all, but i think it might just be the power button. So i was going to try and take it apart and see if that is the problem, now i just have to figure out how to get it apart.

I just repaired one. Symptom was no power at all. When I plugged it in, I could hear the switching supply making a noise, like it was trying to turn on. I opened it up and It ended up being 2 capacitors in the power supply section. I seen the tops were swollen, they were 1000uF 10V. They were for the 5volt power section I believe.
I think they were C824 and C825. I removed both of them and replaced them with one 2200uF 10V cap. I powered it up and it works now.

It seems that the 1905FP has a problem with a faulty power connection. I have had a few of these that work fine then all of a sudden it stops working and have found that if the power is held in a certain position it will work just fine.

Hello,

the message Analog input in power save mode means that your monitor is not getting a signal from your computer.

Maybe you moved the video cable while reconnecting your keyboard? check both ends of your video cable.

If you have a DVI cable, then your monitor has to be switched to digial input.

I hope this helps.

Monitor wont power up

It is possible especially if it has a loose or slightly faulty component and moving the monitor has caused it to fail especially if you bump it in the move.
Does the power LED light up when you switch on the monitor?

How do we turn off the POWER SAVING MODE on the monitor screen?

Try going into your Start Menu then going into your control panel...then clicking on your "power options"....then switching the options to 'always on'..if this does not work..(as it seems you may not be seeing this because the monitor is in power saving mode) try fiddling with the setup option on your monitor and find a possible powersaving mode enabled function and disable it. every monitor is different so I couldn't really help you here...if this doesn't yield results try another monitor to see if it's the monitor having the problems or the computers video card...the video card could very well be the culprit...

Your C5707 transistors in the monitor have failed. Suggest replacing all four with the Sanyo C5707 transistor. A common problem.
